Props are encouraged as is an attitude of acceptance of bodily limitations.  Teaching  style and training are based on the tradition of T.K.V. Desikachar, the son of the great Krishnamachary.

Description: Enhance Fitness is a 16-week program designed to reduce the risk of falls, improve cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, balance, flexibility and physical function. The class meets 3 times per week and utilizes ankle weights instead of dumbbells and elastic bands (no gripping required). Pre and post assessments will be performed to assess progress. Registration at the Welcome Center is required. Class is limited to 25 people.
